Qigong

What is Qigong?

Qigong is a profound and life changing practice leading to greater wellbeing, intuitive awareness, peace of mind and emotional freedom. This  ancient Chinese discipline has been practised in China for thousands of years and incorporates elements of Chinese Medicine, Martial arts, Tai Chi and meditation. The practice is a comprehensive approach to health and longevity, that combines exercises, postures, breathing techniques, intention and meditation to assist the flow of energy through the body and enhance wellbeing and vitality. Qigong practice helps us to connect more deeply with our innate essence and feel an inter-connectedness and oneness with nature - reminding us of who we truly are. Qigong is the exchange between our Qi and the Qi of nature to bring balance to body, mind and Spirit.

Why Meditate?

Meditation is one of the best stress management tools you can have in your ‘kit-bag’! It has been practiced in the east for 1,000's of years and is becoming increasingly popular in the west. There are over ten thousand scientific studies validating the profound, positive effects this practice has on our holistic wellbeing. Research show meditation improves anxiety, depression and insomnia, as well as promoting deep relaxation and peace. One type of meditation being embraced is mindfulness. This training of the mind brings about greater acceptance, non-judgement, clarity and present moment awareness - reducing stress and enhancing brain function and productivity.
I invite you to try meditation and experience it's amazing benefits for yourself.
